Ham Radio Welcome to the Vero Beach Amateur Radio Club (VBARC).
We are an active club, with over 100 members.
Join our many radio nets each week (it's easy).
ARES uses radio email (Winlink) weekly.
We have in-person weekly breakfast.
We use our radios every Saturday in a local park.
You don't need to be a member to join us. 


Ham Club Officer Nominating Committee
The Ham Club created the Officer Nominating Committee at the Ham Club meeting on Oct 8th.
Their job is to recommend officers at the club meeting Thursday, November 13th.
There will be a vote at the December 11th club meeting.

3. The ARRL election of Southeastern Division Director will conclude on Friday, November 21.

4. HOA Petition - Do you support ham radio antennas in your HOA?
You don't need to live in an HOA to support.

TT2025 Turkey Trot - Thur 27 Nov 
We need 2 (more is ok) Ham Operators to support the Turkey Trot.

Thank you for your shirt sizes, UAP is holding 17 T-shirts for us.
The VB Turkey Trot is Thanksgiving, Thur, 27 Nov. 7-10 am at Riverside Park.

1. Clubhouse: John Davis CHL is the POC, he won't available on Tue.
2. Thur: Breakfast Thursday 8:15 AM, 13 Nov. Kat appreciated her card and gift, thank you to those that contributed. See Thursday breakfast paragraph.
4. Thur: Club meeting, 7:30 pm, 13 Nov, at the Veterans Club, see location in Monthly meeting. 
Please let Bob KK6WYW know if you plan to have the Spaghetti and Meatball dinner, so we can give the VC a heads up. 
3. Friday 14 Nov: Clubhouse "Kit Night", 7-9 pm at the clubhouse. John will be there.

Club Meeting on 2nd Thursday of the Month
Our next club meeting is Thursday, 13 Nov. It will start at 7:30 pm.
VC is serving Meatball and Spaghetti dinner tonight, checking to see if menu is open. Please contact Bob KK6WYW, he plans to inform the club how many will eat dinner.

Ham Radio Flex Radio Group
The club Flex radio is currently off-line. We turned off the internet, it was too expensive.
We are looking for lower cost internet, and also looking for other solutions, like rehosting at a different site.
The Flex is currently using SmartSDR software version 3.10.10. Rick W. N4WRW is our Flex Radio committee lead, he's at 772-321-6462.


Clubhouse
Air Conditioning has returned to the club house. Remember, you need outside and inside combo to access the clubhouse.

Monthly Club Meetings
Our club has it's main meeting on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:30 pm. Location is: Vero Beach Veterans Club, 2500 15th Ave.
You do not need to be a member to attend. Find out more about our club and ham radio. 
Our normal monthly schedule is: 1st Friday - CERT (7 PM), 2nd Thur - Club Mtg (7:30 PM), 3rd Wednesday - License Testing (7 PM), 4th Wednesday - ARES Mtg (7 PM), 5th week - no activity.

The W4OT.com Member's Area of the website is open only to members.
Join us using Pay on-line with paypal or Credit card payment; use the menu link on top left or below. On-line is great for new members, but it also requires you complete the membership application. VBARC Member $20, VBARC Family Dues $30. 
Separate donation for the Treasure Coasters Repeaters Association: $20 ($21 when done on-line).
